Well done to the Class of 2025 for their performance at leavers’ assembly this morning. We had a great morning celebrating with school staff, parent/guardians, friends and family the time Primary 7 have spent at Moorfields. Wishing everyone continued success in their future education. Primary 7 used some of their ‘Wooden it be Fabulous’ profits to treat themselves to milkshakes, brownies, cookies, desserts or ice-cream from Dessert and Co. Many thanks to Sean from Dessert and Co and Henry for delivering the delicious treats which were enjoyed by everyone. This year our Eco Committee have entered a 'Really Rubbish Scarecrow' competition at the Ireland Garden Show in Antrim Castle Gardens. If you are there don't forget to check out our Polly! £426.92 was raised from the collection for Turning Point NI in Tesco on Friday. Thank you to everyone who donated and who helped to transport the children. Final thanks go to Tesco for allowing us to collect. Primary Four have had a great day creating rockets and space stations. A lot of mess but a LOT of fun, teamwork and creativity!
Moorfields were absolutely delighted to be invited to play at the Kingspan Stadium, home of Ulster Rugby, today. Starting our first match by running out of the tunnel to getting to see inside the changing rooms, this was a day to remember!
Moorfields played three matches and were undefeated! |
