Agewell Award Winners!

We are so delighted and proud to receive the Intergenerational Partnership Award at the first Agewell Awards ceremony. The Mid and East Antrim Awards event was a celebration of many organisations, schools, churches and volunteers who have made a positive impact in the lives of older members of our community. Moorfields PS and Galgorm Care Home were nominated together due to our strong relationship and we emerged the winners!

Congratulations to Miss Galloway, the staff and many of our P6 and P7 pupils over the last number of years - they have done so much to maintain the links with the Galgorm residents and they are always delighted to receive letters and gifts from them. This scheme has been so beneficial for pupils and residents alike - as the younger and older generation take time to consider each other and show that we care.
