In Primary 2 we have been learning about the rainforest. We know that it rains a lot there! Today we made our own rainclouds.Well done to all our responsible people in January who received the yellow wristband from Mr Beattie.  Two nights of music, dancing and games as we hold our Valentine's Disco Fundraisers on 7th and 8th February.  The P1 class was experimenting this week. They had to use all their scientific skills to test which material was best for fixing Mrs Nevin’s umbrella! It is so nice to be back after our Christmas holidays! We have been very busy and have been working extra hard. P1 has been investigating 2D shapes, writing single letters and small words, learning outdoors, enjoying playing with P2, developing our football skills with Coaching 4 Christ and making the most of the snow this week! We have also celebrated 2 birthdays in January.On Friday 19th January we really enjoyed our outdoor play. We may not have been able to bring the scooters out but we had lots of fun building snow castles instead! We also found lots of ice! |
