Primary Four had a great day at the Ulster Folk Museum. We enjoyed a lesson in the old school house, which was rather chilly, but very interesting! P4 aren't sure if they would have liked school in the 1950s or not!! Congratulations to this group of boys who played really well at the Ballymena 7-a-side finals this week. We were already so proud of these boys for making it this far in the competition - it's a big honour to play on finals day!
They beat Ballykeel 2-1 and drew with Buick to top their group and met Carniny PS in the semi-final. It was a tense match which went to extra time... and unfortunately Carniny scored in the last moments to win 1-0. We are extremely proud of this team - well done boys! We were delighted to welcome some guests to school on Wednesday morning this week. The Right Rev Dr Richard Murray, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, visited Moorfields PS as part of his Ballymena tour. We really enjoyed hearing from him in assembly.

He brought some rainforest animals and we had lots of fun learning about spiders, cockroaches, toads, snakes, owls and armadillos! Look how brave we were!
