We wish our P7 Leavers every success for the future! They’ve been brilliant at Moorfields and we know they’ll keep being brilliant wherever they go next. Have a look at the video of them leaving school for the last time. We were delighted to receive our Eco-Schools Green Flag for all the amazing work the staff and children have done together to keep our school environment clean and sustainable! The video gives an insight into the busy year we've had - but we are thrilled to have achieved this prestigious title - we are now and Eco-School! A huge thank you to Ballymena Runners for our fantastic colour run! We had a brilliant afternoon as part of our activity week to raise money for Angel Wishes. The pitch was a cloud of colour and our white t-shirts weren't white for too long! Thanks also to Galgorm for our medals.
Mrs Burnside talked to P3 about her job as a podiatrist. Mrs Burnside showed us lots of equipment she uses and told us why it is important to look after your feet.
We have loved watching our butterflies grow from tiny caterpillars. Today we let our butterflies go. We hope they will come back to visit us. We will keep an eye out for them flying around!
Last week Daniel’s mum talked to P3 about being a dentist. Mrs Currie gave us great advice on how to look after our teeth and how important it is to clean them properly.
On Friday our Tag Rugby team took part in the Ballymena school’s blitz where they played 9 games in total. They won 6 and drew 3. We are so proud of all the boys and girls who took part.
Mr Currie told us all about his cow and her lovely calf. We got to look at his tractor. The wheels were really big!!!!!
